DRUUMM YaYA is a mouthful of an acroymn, but it has important roots that we hope you will learn, remember and share with others in your community.

DRUUMM stands for Diverse and Revolutionary Unitarian Universalist Multicultural Ministries. It is the parent organization of YaYA, with a Steering Committee and President. DRUUMM was coined in 1997 by a group of religious professionals of "Color" who met in Los Gatos, CA, and it was created to describe the visionary and powerful hopes of persons of "Color" in our faith to offer a place for authentic diversity and sacred community building.

YaYA is Youth and Young Adults, who started a caucus under the umbrella of DRUUMM in 1998, meeting at GA, and then at annual conferences.
